FRIDAY... TOWNSCRAPPER CHALLENGE!

Good Friday Evening All!

I hope you had a good week and I wish you an even better WEEKEND.  It is my pleasure to share with you the theme of this week's TOWNSCRAPPER CHALLENGE.  KIM, the TOWNSCRAPPER DT COORDINATOR has designed a spectacular sketch for the challenge this week.  I don't know about you, but when my creative juices are stagnant, a good sketch can do wonders to get me back on track.  Here is a peek at KIM'S ultra-inspiring sketch.

Tonight I'd like to share a card I made for my niece.  She is graduating this year and heading-off to highschool in September.  Boy, the older I get, the faster time flies!  I used an adorable Hanna stamp, a stamp company that has closed it's doors, I believe. :(  Here she is....

Card Details:

• stamps-Hanna by Hanna Stamps, sentiment and mortarboard is My Favorite Things

Hanna was stamped with StazOn Jet Black and painted using Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Watercolour Sheets.  A lot of Diamond Stickles was added to create some serious glitter.  The mortarboard was stamped with Dew Drop Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy.  The sentiment was inked-up with VersaFine Onyx Black.

A CARD FOR MOM

I have a little time before I begin to make dinner to post this card I made for my Mom last month.  I've used one of several Hanna stamps that I own.  There were so many adorable images created by this company.  It is my understanding that Hanna stamps are no longer available. :(

Without further ado, here is the card....

  I stamped Hanna on Neenah cardstock with StazOn Jet Black ink and coloured her with Prisma pencils and odourless mineral spirits.  The patterned design papers are October Afternoon.  The Paper Studio made the pink ribbon bow on Hanna's dress.  Flowers are products of Prima.  The brads are We R Memory Keepers and SEI.

It's a dreary Monday in Southern Ontario...what a perfect day to post Rain Day Hanna! Hanna is sporting some fashionable rain gear in this image. The weather does not seem to dampen her spirits, what a gal!

Card Details:

Hanna, puddle and raindrops were stamped with StazOn Jet Black. They were coloured using Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Water Color Sheets. Glitter on umbrella is Waterfall Stickles. Raincoat, boots, umbrella, puddles and raindrops given a coat of Judy Kins Diamond Glaze. Sentiment was inked-up with VersaFine Onyx Black.

Yes, you may have seen a similar card not all that long ago. I have spent some time today working on this revamped version of the card I gave my Mom for Mother's Day. I picked up this new paper at The Town Scrapper last week and have been really wanting to make something with it. I LOVE the colour PURPLE. This is Hanna, looking pretty cool in her gardening gear.

Hanna's Kiss the Cook

Today's post is a card made with Hanna Stamps' Kiss the Cook. I think Hanna looks super in her apron...wish I looked this fantastic in the kitchen! I feel Hanna cookin' up a storm would be a perfect thank you when invited to a friend's for a meal.
