Keep reading for details...

First...

Introducing the HUMBLE PIE SWEETIE PIE Illustrator/Designer:
Heather Hambleton is the illustrator for all of the Humble Pie Sweetie Pie images. Heather is an uber talented artist! Her images are the cutest! She tells us she has been drawing ever since she
was old enough to hold a pencil. We we are so happy to have her as part of the Humble Pie Design Team!
Here is Heather's story:

This sweet, beautiful girl is only 19 years old! She is creative beyond her years! I predict a fantastic future for this girl!

Here is what Heather shared with me:
Hi there! My name is Heather Hambleton and I have recently started designing stamps for a line called Humble Pie! I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and I am a former Beal Art student. I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold up a pencil. Drawing is definitely what I would call my one true passion in life! But when I’m not drawing I can be found at the gym or reading a good book. I am super excited to be designing for Phebe's new HUMBLE PIE stamp line at The Town Scrapper as she is just such an exceptionally amazing lady! Hopefully all goes well and you will like my images as much as she does!! -Heather
So, welcome Heather to the world of stamping, paper crafts, and card making!

Good Monday Afternoon!

I picked up a few of the new C.C. Designs stamps and some Halloween paper from Phebe, The Town Scrapper last week. These lastest stamps are so sweet! The brand new stamps in my possession, I just had to get to work right away. As you have noticed the above card is Halloween themed. C.C. Design's Kiki La Rue is prepping for her Halloween party on this card. She's decided on dressing as the Bride of Frankenstein. Did you realize Halloween is on a Saturday this year?? What a perfect year for parties!!

Card Details:

  • stamps-image is Coffee Kiki La Rue (C.C. Designs) and sentiment is from Amy R. Stamps' Autumn Sentiments set.

Rubber Kiki was inked-up with StazOn Jet Black, stamped on Fabriano 140 lbs cold pressed Watercolour paper and painted with Reeves Water Colour Pencils. A little sparkle was added to her dressing gown, coffee cup, slippers and the flower in her hair with the use of Black Diamond Stickles. The flower centre (in her hair) is created using Studio g orange Glitter Glue made by Hampton Art. Kiki's eyeshadow is shimmery Crystal Stickles and her hair is shiny thanks to Judi Kins' Diamond Glaze. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black.

  • dp-Bo-Bunny's Back To Backs Boo Crew coordinating papers (I added Diamond Stickles to the web design and Judy Kins' Diamond Glaze to the spiders in the web)

  • cs-green/black Black Magic collection by Core'dinations

  • embossing-Cuttlebug's Skeleton Scroll

  • edger punch-dotted wave (ek Success)

I'm currently working on a card featuring another SWEETIE PIE stamp...check back again soon. The brand new SWEETIE PIE line is set to arrive at The Town Scrapper midweek!!!! We will also be holding another BLOP this week (with lots of prizes) to celebrate Phebe/The Town Scrapper's EXCLUSIVE SWEETIE PIES!!!!!

Happy Thursday!!

I've been waiting this week to post a card with another of Phebe's/The Town Scrapper's new SWEETIE PIE stamp images. We, Phebe's design team, have been dying for the stamps to physically arrive at the store (The Town Scrapper), but nothing YET... Their grand arrival is expected any day now!!!! Stay tuned, maybe it will be tomorrow?!

Soooooo, today's post is card I made for our friends' new arrival. This card was quite teeny as I wanted to attach it to a gift bag of a coordinating colour. It features an adorable lion stamp from The Greeting Farm's Wild Things stamp set.

Card Details:

  • stamps-image is from The Greeting Farm's Wild Things set, sentiment is My Favorite Things' Lots a Love set, stitching from Stitched Borders by Sassafrass Lass (one of my most used and loved sets)

Lion was inked-up with StazOn Jet Black and stamped on Fabriano 140 lbs cold pressed watercolour paper. He was painted with Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Watercolour sheets. The lion's hair was given some shine using Judy Kins' Diamond Glaze and his mane was made to sparkle with the help of Diamond Stickles. The sentiment and stitching were stamped with Versafine Onyz Black. In order to provide a 3D effect, I stamped and painted the lion image twice and layered one on top of the other using a "pop dot" type adhesive.

  • patterned design paper-Oh Baby! Boy by Basic Grey

  • cardstock-Core'dination

  • ribbon-The Paper Studio

  • bling-Brenda Walton's Adhesive Rhinestones by K&Company

I hope to make and post addition cards made with this extra-cute stamp set. There is also a mouse (it looks like a mouse to me??), bear, bird and monkey featured in this collection.

The Greeting Farm and My Favorite Things stamps, as well as the Core'dinations cardstock was obtained from PHEBE, THE TOWN SCRAPPER.

Have a terrific Friday and a wonderful weekend!!!
