FREEBIE, WHIFF OF JOY and HUMBLE PIE STAMP PRIZE!!

Good Evening!

As I mentioned in my previous post, it's been awhile since I've posted my creations.  I have asked that Phebe and the gals at The Town Scrapper(formerly HUMBLE PIE BLOG) allow me to join them in their fun, once again.  It is my hope and intention to whip-up crafty treats along with The Town Scrapper DT members, as before, but at a slower pace .  Things have been a little hectic as I attempt to establish a routine with my new little one, my 4 year old and almost 6 year old.  Please be patient with me as I try to get back into the groove.

This week's CHALLENGE at The Town Scrapper involves the creation of an easel card.  Now, don't panic, a tutorial on this very style of card was the subject of the The Town Scrapper TUTORIAL on Wednesday.  Just take a little peek back and you'll see Lisa has provided a super explanation for creating an easel card of your own.  The Fab DT members have again provided amazing challenge samples to inspire.  Up for grabs for each participant is a digi Angel Maggie.  One lucky card-crafter will receive Whiff of Joy's "Charlotte on Carpet" and another  participant "Sitting Ellie."  Check out all the details HERE!

Two wonderfully talented ladies joined the DT for the month of February.  Bonnie and Zoe have shared their gifts with us all this past month and we thank them for such phenomenal work.  Bonnie, thank you for joining The Town Scrapper DT  for February, you will be missed.  Zoe, much to the Design Team's delight, will continue to share her creative genius with The Town Scrapper Followers.

Much is happening behind the scenes at The Town Scrapper right now, keep checking in with us to find out all about our exciting news!

Until my next post on Monday,

Tricia

OH CANADA/HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Good Evening!!

It feels great to be posting this card after such a long break.  I put this together for my little 4 year old cousin's birthday.  I thought it would be fun to give it a Canadian theme as I have been glued to the TV for the past week and a bit, watching the Olympics.

Card Recipe:
  • stamps-skier (C.C. Designs), stitching (Stitched Borders by Sassafras Lass), sentiment (My Favorite Things), snowflake (The Greeting Farm's Keep Cozy Set)
Stamps were inked-up with Staz-On Jet Black. Snowflake was stamped using VersaMark Watermark.  The skier was coloured using Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Watercolour Sheets.  Black on bindings and scarf compliments of ZIG marker.
  • patterned design paper-Little Guy (ki memories)
  • cardstock-various
  • sparkle on snowflakes-Diamond Stickles
Most supplies for this card were obtained from Phebe at The Town Scrapper/Humble Pie Stamps.

There's some exciting news soon to be released on the Humble Pie Stamps Blog....stay tuned!!!
