Here's my altered item for this week's challenge:

Tile/Coaster Recipe:

  • stamp-HUMBLE PIE'S CHRYSANTHEMUM FAIRY (designed by Sophia Landry)

I inked-up the fairy with StazOn Jet Black, stamped her on a tile and coloured her with Pebble Inc. chalks.  To seal the coloured image, I sprayed the surface of the tile with a matte-finish acrylic spray, sprinkling some fairy glitter (AKA Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter by Stampendous!) over the wet surface.  A second coat of acrylic spray was later applied.

As you may notice in the photo, some bleeding did occur.  I'm uncertain why the bleeding occured, as I have not encountered this issue in previous tile projects.  In previous projects, I had not used StazOn ink, however I don't think StazOn would the problem.  I believe I used the some acrylic spray previously, but wonder if maybe the very cool temperature of the garage (where I did the spraying) may be to blame.  Any ideas??
