A Little late....

Hello All!

Hope you are enjoy your weekend.  We've had a busy one so far with an adult work-related Christmas party last night and a children's Christmas party today...'tis the Season!  Have the tree trimmed and few decorations up, but a little more to go and then there's the baking and cards.  I do realize I'm running out of time.  Yikes!!

Here's a quick post to inform that a random winner of the Monochromatic Humble Pie Stamps' Challenge was drawn in the wee hours of Friday morning.  Li-Bee-Ti won a terrific Humble Pie Prize Package, just perfect for this Christmas season!

A new LIFT Challenge has begun and is sure to be a lot of fun!  A winter themed Prize Package is up for grabs at the close of this current challenge!  Click HERE for all the details and a peek at the Humble Pie Bakers' inspirational lifts.

I'd like to share my version of this week's LIFT Challenge, below:

This is KIM B.'S (our Design Team Coordinator at Humble Pie Stamps and the talented creator of the many cards available for LIFTING for this week's Challenge) card which I LIFTED and tried to do justice:

Now for the recipe....

  • stamp-Humble Pie Stamps' Snowman with Shovel

This frosty little guy was inked-up with StazOn Jet Black Ink and brought to life with the assistance of Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Watercolour Sheets.  The shovel blade was shined-up with Judy Kins' Diamond Glaze.  His eyes, mouth and buttons were given a bit of sparkle thanks to Black Diamond Stickles and his snowy body was made to shimmer like Crystal (Stickles).

  • patterned design paper-Cosmo Cricket's Jolly by Golly: Breezy Freezy

  • cardstock-teal is Core'dinations Black Magic Collection and winter white is unknown manufacturer

  • embossing-Cuttlebug's D'vine Swirl Embossing Folder

  • border punch-rope by Fiskars

  • snowflake accents-Cloud9 Design Snowflake Rain Dots by Fiskars

The majority of the fabulous ingredients for my card were obtained from THE TOWN SCRAPPER, home of HUMBLE PIE STAMPS (and much, much more).

Until my next post,

Tricia
