Happy Day

Good Thursday Afternoon!

Today, I thought I'd post a card I made for a special occasion in my littlest one's life.  I fell in love with this image by Tina Wenke (Stampavie) when I first laid eyes on it.  I picked-up this adorable stamp at the TownScrapper.

The image featured on the card pictured below is "Mouse in Nut Boat".

Card Details:

• stamps-mouse Stampavie image by Tina Wenke, "Matthew" created using Technique Tuesday's Big Timber Small Alphabet 

"Mouse in Nut Boat" image was inked-up with StazOn Jet Black , stamped on Fabriano 140 lbs cold pressed watercolour paper and coloured with Nicholson's Peerless Transparent Watercolour Sheets.  Sparkle was added to the water and bugs' trails using Diamond Stickles.  Brad flowers are  Making Memories, I believe.  Letters in Matthew's name were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black.

• cardstock-green tones are Core'dinations, blue is from my stash of unknowns

Couldn't help myself...had to include a pic of Matthew on his BIG DAY!  His gorgeous gown was crocheted by my very talented and generous cousin, Paula.  Thank you Paula!!
